LADYTRON’S NEW SINGLE “MISERY REMEMBER ME” IS A BOLD STEP TOWARD THE FUTURE

“Misery Remember Me” is the kind of Ladytron track you want to listen to riding in the car at night with the streetlights passing you by. It takes some of the grandiose sounds Ladytron experimented with in ‘Gravity the Seducer’ and melds it with a chill ambiance of songs like “Beauty*2” and “All the Way”. The result is something wholly new for Ladytron and well worth a listen.

Misery Remember Me is uplifting, haunting, and dreamlike which contrasts with the driving beats found in ‘Time’s Arrow's first single “City of Angels”. Ladytron is showing off their range with “Misery Remember Me” and showing that after 23 years of making music they’re not resting on their laurels.

Ladytron albums have always been a patchwork of ideas, messages, and melodies from the band’s often far-flung band members. These like-minded creatives continue to surprise and delight their fans by finding new ways to carry their sound. Thus far Ladytron’s new album, ‘Time’s Arrow’, has displayed a true evolution of the band’s synth-heavy sounds and poignant lyrics. Fans can look forward to hearing more when the album releases on January 20th, 2023.
