LA INDIE ACT INTERESTING HOBBIES CLUB DROPS INFECTIOUS NEW TRACK "WEDNESDAY"

Los Angeles is home to some of the biggest names in the music industry. With the Capitol Records building towering over the LA skyline, it can be intimidating to breakout in such a cut throat city. But if you’re the Interesting Hobbies Club, I wouldn’t be worried because their new single “Wednesday” is an absolute banger. It’s dynamic, it’s well constructed, and nearly perfect. Clocking in at 4 minutes and 24 seconds, this indie rock tune begins with some fuzz guitar that immediately erupts into a solid groove. Getting heavy Surf Curse vibes from this song. The guitarist clicks off the fuzz during the verse leaving room for the singer to deliver some beautiful vocals while the bass carries the groove in the background. The guitars then click the fuzz right back on for a heavy and catchy chorus.

About two and half minutes into the song comes a breakdown and buildup that is sure to work up a crowd during their live shows. I could easily see this band open for Surf Curse, Alex G, or any bands of the sort. If you are in the LA area, be sure to check out Interesting Hobbies Club, they will not disappoint.
