KING KRULE'S ELECTRIC PERFORMANCE SELLS OUT THE PALLADIUM TWICE IN BACK TO BACK NIGHTS

King Krule's performance at the Hollywood Palladium on September 25, 2023, was nothing short of spectacular. The native Londoner, known for his unique blend of genres that encompass jazz, punk, and indie rock, brought a mesmerizing and unforgettable experience to the stage.

As I entered the venue, the anticipation in the air was palpable. The venue was buzzing with excitement, and fans of all ages had gathered to witness King Krule's musical prowess. The stage was bathed in a moody, dimly lit ambiance, setting the perfect atmosphere for the evening.

The show kicked off with the energetically jazzy "A Lizard State," instantly capturing the audience's attention. King Krule's distinctive baritone voice filled the venue with raw emotion. His band, featuring exceptionally talented musicians, provided a tight and intricate backdrop to his evocative lyrics.

Throughout the performance, King Krule effortlessly transitioned between tracks from his various albums, showcasing his evolution as an artist. Tracks like "Baby Blue" and "Easy Easy" from his earlier work had the crowd swaying and singing along, while newer songs like "Flimsier" and "Seagirl" displayed his growth and experimentation in sound.

One of the highlights of the evening was the performance of "Seagirl”,  an absolutely incredible pairing with the mesmerizing artist Raveena. Their voices complimented each other so well. The whole audience seemed to be floating into a collective dreamlike state. Highly recommend checking out this track.

The visuals accompanying the performance were a visual feast. A stunning light show, complemented by an expanded iteration of the Space Heavy album artwork backdrop that seemed to show you more of the visual world that this music came from, added another layer of depth to the music, creating a truly immersive experience.
