KACEY JOHANSING SPEAKS ON SELF-LOVE WITH CAPTIVATING NEW SINGLE “ALL OF ME”
Michigan-born Kacey Johansing will be releasing her new album No Better Time on November 20th via Night Bloom Records. The singer-songwriter has now released her beautiful second offering from the new album “All of Me” following the release of lead single “I Try”.
“All of Me” portrays a beautiful anthem of self-love orchestrated with dreamy strummed guitar, soft-spoken vocals and rich synth melodies. “I want to give it up / feeling good enough” sings Kacey in “All of Me” opening herself up and expressing true feelings of love and vulnerability. Speaking on the new single, Kacey states the song is “about self-acceptance and learning how to love one’s own body, while existing in a culture of narrow and distorted beauty standards for women.”
“All of Me” is wonderfully emotive and a superb follow-up single for the new album release. The new album due to be released next month will feature contributions from Todd Dahlhoff (Feist, Devendra Banhart), Trevor Beld Jimenez (Parting Lines) and Amir Yaghmai (Julian Casablancas + The Voidz). And if that wasn’t enticing enough, No Better Time was also engineered by Tyler Karman (DIIV, Alvvays) and mixed by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Cat Power).
