The world might be falling apart around us, but Juno Roome has crafted a superb slice of dream-pop escapism called “just like before” that might just cure what ails ya. This four and half minute song/hypnotism experiment is all but guaranteed to help you zone out the universe’s bad vibes and rock out in peace. With lyrics in both English and Korean, and a gorgeously hazed-out production sound that somehow lets every instrument shine, “just like before” is one of the few songs that successfully transports you back to the good ol’ days. Oh yeah, and the last minute of this track can only be described as EPIC.
