JAYA BREMER’S MOODY NEW SINGLE "OUR POTENTIAL" COMMANDS ATTENTION

Jaya Bremer’s soulful vocal stylings are intriguing without being overpowering. Her choices lean towards the “dream pop” realm, but she could easily push her tracks into the mainstream, captivating indie record store dwellers the way artists like Sia have made their mark on the charts.

Her new song “Our Potential” does a great job of capturing the energy of attraction. Though she uses a metaphorical approach, describing an attraction to another person, one could easily relate the lyrics back to being attracted to something else, like a goal.

She says, “I’m feeling sick; but, I’m competitive.”

Sometimes, chasing after the things we desire feels like an adrenaline rush, and she did a fantastic job of encapsulating that energy. You can feel that tension within each pulsating beat. Bremer’s connection with the music she sings is potent, allowing audiences to dance while they truly feel each word she’s written.
