INSTRUMENTAL ROCK DUO MOVIE CLUB DEBUTS NEW MUSIC VIDEO "TRAP DOOR" FROM UPCOMING EP "FANGTOOTH" OUT NOW

Instrumental Venice Beach rock duo Jessamyn Violet and Vince Cuneo, Movie Club, are set out to release their fifth studio album ‘Fangtooth’ with a major surprise music video drop titled "Trap Door", a heavy metal road track including heavy psychedelic sounds that’ll relentlessly have you on the go.

Jessamyn keeps that beat elevated on the drums at all times genuinely crushing it following wherever Vince takes it next; showing how they both feed off each others' energy creating amazing distorted riffs and hardcore drumming. Vince creates a post-apocalyptic environment with the way he plays his guitar and the tone he's emulating almost sounding like a movie soundtrack from a blockbuster out of Hollywood. Cuneo makes rhythms without words adding the hardcore psychedelia component into the music causing you to shift mentally, like almost living a real-life thriller. The music video overall is mind-blowing it will reverse your wires the whole time you're watching it, cause of its amazing cinematic shots and dystopian Bombay Beach estates. The filming location is a perfect place for a grounded film and the duo nailed it with the throwback reference of "The Red Balloon", having them release different colored balloons to match the different locations. “We definitely went far outside of our comfort zone making this video, I don’t know how to describe crawling into the Salton Sea, but there was a moment where I thought that I physically wasn’t going to be able to go through with it.” says guitarist Cuneo.

The track will have you on the go and it will feel like you've been microdosing once listening to it on the road. This amazing duo from Venice Beach, surprisingly, has peaked my interest, and don't forget to check out "Trap Door" out now!
