INDIE'S KARABOUDJAN RELEASES NEW SINGLE "SEEMS LIKE"

Inglewood CA's Karaboudjan is derived from multi-instrumentalist Billy Kim. The name Karaboudjan is a tribute to Billy's father, the nostalgia of youth, and the expression of his musical pursuit. His newest single "Seems Like" is an attempt to shout out loud to the abyss. The singer-songwriter says the song was made, "To wear my heart on my sleeve for once, to vocalize my frustrations of losing my dad twice; Alzheimer's first, death second", says Karaboudjan. Listen closely to the lyrics. There’s an incredibly deep story there. The hook “Seems like, it takes another one” sinks deep as you understand the context of where Billy is coming from as he grapples with what seems to be a hopeless illness take hold of the person he loves most. The groove is easy, the tonality stays light, the lyrics hit hard. Much like his life so far, this song is a journey.
