Suffolk Singer-songwriter and musician FM Towns got through his teenage years with an FM radio walkman. That walkman helped him get through the "grey and green detachment of small-town rural England" says Towns. He often writes about his own personal experiences and his latest single is no exception. "Sweet William" is a tale about a boy trapped and unable to escape the clutches of small-town rural life. "The song is told from the perspective of the local gossips who observe and judge everything he does", says Towns.
