The mysterious noise rock punks known as In Covert have a killer new time bomb of a track called “Darkfields” ready to annihilate your headphones and/or conquer your ears. A never-ending barrage of filthy bass lines, pummeling drums and haunting guitar tones permeate every aspect of this tune, while the manic vocal delivery is equal parts unnerving and refreshing at the same time. Listening to “Darkfields” with closed eyes conjures images of sweaty bodies clad in black, shimmying on a packed dance floor…in hell. Not much is known about this insanely talented/disturbing new Los Angeles band, other than that they mix industrial, goth, punk, and ferociousness like no others.
