Imaad Wasif, the Los Angeles-based indie rock songwriting and multi-instrumentalist wizard, has a stunning new single called “So Long Mr. Fear” for your listening and viewing pleasure. Both the song and it's accompanying music video, are soothing, introspective little numbers that burrow into your psyche and demand more listens/views. A never-ending wave of keyboard strokes and Mr. Wasif’s inviting voice carry most of the song, before sharing the limelight with a sparse but highly effective guitar and faint but damn hypnotic drum beat. The video centers around Wasif performing his tune during blue hour at the beach and captures the song’s vibe perfectly.
