GET YOUR ALT ROCK FIX FROM A NEW COLLAB WITH POSABLE ACTION FIGURES AND HONEYBLOOD, "SIMULATOR"

When it comes to alternative and pop-rock, it is hard to capture the essence of the genre and sounding original at the same time, but artists Posable Action Figures and Honeyblood do just that. Their new single “Simulator” is an upbeat composition that has all the fixings of what an alt-rock fan would want. Distorted guitar, tasteful synth lines, and powerhouse vocals carry the song. It breaches into the pop-rock genre but carries a more alternative tone throughout. The palm-muted guitar in the begging leads into a dreamy synth line that seems to be a recurring theme throughout the song.

The male and female vocal parts give the song a great dynamic and even have a robotic tone during the chorus. The singer reminds me slightly of Julian Casablancas from alt-rock legends The Strokes, but definitely has his own original edge to his voice. Both artists should definitely be on your radar if you are a fan of high energy experimental alternative rock! You can find the new song “Simulator” available on all media platforms.
