“GET ME STARTED” IS AN ANTHEMIC SINGLE FROM TOM A. SMITH

Another hit single coming straight from Sunderland—Tom A. Smith delivers another hit banger. I had the privilege of reviewing his last single a few months ago, titled “Fading Away," and his new one, “Get Me Started,” is getting me just as excited. 

The intro to the song resembles a heart beating slowly, blending into the dance beat with a strong drum and guitar. The new anthem is sure to have an indie rock feel to it, along with a singalong chorus. Smith continues to create music that gains him recognition as well as high praise in the media, stating that he is one of the UK’s rising names.

Smith says his new track “...was written about not having the self-belief or confidence to speak to people I like without a bit of alcohol to relax me. I’d rather appear to be something I’m not.”

Sometimes all you need is that liquid courage to talk to the people you like, and this track is surely going to be inspirational to boost your ego.
