FORMER CHILD STAR TURNED SHOEGAZE ARTIST SUFFER FOOLS RELEASE “ALMOST BEAUTIFUL”

The horrors of child stardom reflect on the lyrics of suffer fools’ new track, “Almost Beautiful.” The idea of being almost beautiful, almost being enough, is the theme of the song and haunts my ears as I think about the unrealistic beauty standards in Hollywood. The track itself has a shoegaze/dark wave sound to it and has embittered lyrical themes.

The track is part of a conceptual project by suffer fools that centers around a “former child star, current train wreck, future pop messiah,” Debbie Debased.
