FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH & MARILYN MANSON IGNITE THE HONDA CENTER IN ANAHEIM

The Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, set the stage for an unforgettable night of heavy metal mayhem. It hosted the highly anticipated co-headlining tour of Five Finger Death Punch and Marilyn Manson. As one of the premier venues in the region, the Honda Center was the perfect setting for this high-octane concert featuring two titans of the metal genre. Five Finger Death Punch, known for their powerful riffs and anthemic choruses, and Marilyn Manson, celebrated for his provocative and theatrical performances, delivered a night of intense and unforgettable music. This event not only highlighted the scale and grandeur of the venue but also marked a significant milestone in my concert photography career, capturing the energy and spectacle of two of metal’s biggest acts.

The evening commenced with a blistering set by Slaughter to Prevail, a Russian deathcore band known for their ferocious sound. Their intense performance set a high bar for the night and energized the crowd, creating a perfect lead-up to the headliners. Their set's raw power and aggression showcased why they are rising stars in the metal scene.

Marilyn Manson took command of the stage with his signature dark and provocative style. My access only allowed me to capture the opening song, "We Know Where You Fucking Live," a track that perfectly set the tone for his hour-long performance. Manson’s set was a captivating mix of theatricality and intensity, culminating in the iconic anthem "The Beautiful People," which reverberated through the venue and left a lasting impression on the audience.

Five Finger Death Punch delivered a closing performance that was nothing short of spectacular. This was the grandest production I’ve ever been involved in, with a dazzling display of confetti and fake money showering the audience, amplifying the already electric atmosphere. Their set featured crowd favorites like "Jekyll & Hyde" and "Wash It All Away," each song met with explosive enthusiasm from the crowd.

Five Finger Death Punch and Marilyn Manson pushed the boundaries on a night already characterized by sweltering heat, turning up the temperature and igniting Anaheim with their monumental performances. The Honda Center was transformed into a blazing arena of metal madness, with both acts delivering performances that set the city—and the stage—on fire. This event was a pivotal moment in the venue's history and a highlight of my concert photography journey.
