EXPERIMENTAL ROCK GROUP FIVEIGHTHIRTEEN UNVEIL "FURTHER FROM THIS MOMENT ALL THE TIME"
The experimental post-rock band fiveighthirteen composed by trio Mike Effenberger, Nick Phaneuf, and Mike Walsh have newly released a second single titled "further from this moment all the time" and opener from their upcoming album ‘a fever of rays’, which will be released in the second week of August.
Their new track carries an intense otherworldly psychedelia sound that probably rewires the brain a little bit in ways that I can't imagine. It seduces you with frequencies until you begin seeing different electrifying images in your mind that pulse like a beat through your entire body; feeling and experiencing new doors of perception in each corner of the mind like a fever of dreams.
The video for the track displays beautiful landscapes of nature with greenery shots and rivers depicting the hypnotic state of mind this song alone places you in. The music video calms you, but at the same time messes with your eyes when they overlap the tall trees with ripples in the water forming silhouettes in such a cool way that ends up creating cinematic soundscapes.
Fiveighthirteen is really pushing the limits when it comes to creating new sounds and in their new single they take you on a new world of electrifying experiences that is not tangible, but you can see it and feel it in the soul. I can't wait to fully listen to the full album on a hiking trip, and do not forget to check out "further from this moment all the time", a long title that is well earned.
