Evanescence have roared back onto the scene with “Afterlife” — a towering, cinematic new single that marks their explosive return to the spotlight. The alt-metal legends have joined with Netflix to unleash this powerhouse track as part of the upcoming Devil May Cry animated series, premiering on April 3rd.
Crafted by frontwoman Amy Lee and Mako’s Alex Seaver and co-produced by Seaver and the legendary Nick Raskulinecz, “Afterlife” is an adrenaline-charged anthem that blends haunting melodies with thunderous riffs — everything fans have been craving and more.
Even better? This is just the beginning. In a recent interview, Amy Lee hinted that “Afterlife” is “the first of many” new tracks, confirming that the band is deep in the creative process for a new full-length album. “We’re working on a lot of songs right now,” she revealed. “But this came up through Netflix, and we were just really excited to have an excuse to get in there right away.”
