EL TEN ELEVEN ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM, RELEASE VIDEO FOR "META METTA"

El Ten Eleven, the strident post-rock duo based in Los Angeles, has just given us some of the best news of 2022. Granted, we’re only a few days into COVID year three yet the gents have delivered us news that’s bound to cheer up our pandemic woes.

First off, El Ten Eleven has announced they’ll be releasing a new album titled ‘New Year’s Eve’ on March 4 via Joyful Noise Recordings. The album is the band’s 12th album (wow), and follows their previously released effort ‘Tautology III’, which received unanimous critical acclaim.

New Year’s Eve is a reference to guarded optimism about what is to come. At the time, it seemed like our national divisiveness might be waning and the end of the pandemic was near. But of course that’s not how it turned out,” bassist Kristian Dunn said of the album’s inspiration. “That’s what New Year’s Eves are. You think it’s gonna be a fun night, but usually it’s disappointing at the end.”

The band has also released a music video for “Meta Metta” which was filmed in Los Angeles at The Cube. Watch the video now by clicking below!

El Ten Eleven finished 2021 with a debut of the album’s title track and an ongoing U.S. tour, which resumes this Friday in Los Angeles at the famed Roxy Theatre. For tickets, click here!
