DEVIN TOWNSEND RETURNS WITH EPIC NEW VIDEO FOR “POWERNERD”
Devin Townsend, the preeminent mad scientist of modern metal, is back with a killer new song and a lolz heavy music video in tow called, “PowerNerd.” This, the title track from Townsend’s upcoming new album dropping this October, is a simpler, meat and potatoes type of metal ripper but still demonstrates the genius flourishes we’ve all come to expect from Earth’s most cerebral shredder. The drums gallop, the riffs chug, the synths envelop the senses and the guitar leads are saliva inducing. There’s also guest vocals from Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta which are all but guaranteed to get you on your feet and pounding your chest.
