Philadelphia's rising dreamgaze trio Deux Visages is gearing up to make some noise with their debut album, Call It Goodbye, arriving November 6 via Pure Noise Records. Ahead of the release, the band has shared their latest single and accompanying music video, “Pixelate,” giving fans another reason to keep this up-and-coming act on their radar.
Operating between dreamy atmospheres and rock's rougher edges, Deux Visages is part of a growing wave of artists bringing shoegaze-inspired sounds into the modern alternative scene. Their blend of dreamgaze and rock places them in a musical landscape where atmosphere and intensity can coexist, and “Pixelate” arrives as the latest preview of their upcoming full-length.
The new single comes at an exciting time for the trio. With Call It Goodbye marking their debut album, Deux Visages is preparing to take a significant step forward, moving from an emerging act to a band with a full-length statement to its name.
The band's partnership with Pure Noise Records also puts them in good company. The label has built a reputation for supporting artists across punk, hardcore, emo, and alternative rock, making it a fitting home for a group working within the increasingly blurred boundaries of modern guitar music.
To celebrate the album's arrival, Deux Visages has announced two East Coast release shows, beginning with a hometown performance at Ruba Club in Philadelphia on November 6, the same day Call It Goodbye drops. The following night, November 7, the trio heads to Nightclub 101 in New York City.
For fans of shoegaze, alternative rock, and the growing dreamgaze movement, Deux Visages is a name worth keeping an eye on. With a debut album just around the corner and two intimate release shows lined up, the Philadelphia trio is setting the stage for its next chapter.
