DESTROY BOYS TURN UP THE HEAT WITH “HYSTERIA” AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM FOIE GRAS

Destroy Boys is a female-fronted band from Sacramento, California. Destroy Boys has made music since 2015, tackling the patriarchy while releasing new music. Their new song “Hysteria” will appear on their upcoming Album Foie Gras, out March 5, 2027, on Epitaph Records. The album blends grunge, pop punk, and other ear-catching melodies.

“Hysteria” was produced by Zach Tuch, with contributions from Frank Iero of MCR; the song starts with a heavy bassline and funky grooves, and we are then captivated by the first verse. “ What we all have in common is what we all seem to forget, What we could have if we’re all united but we’re conquered instead”. These lyrics speak volumes louder than our headphones. The song builds and builds, just like the fire we didn’t start.

“Hysteria” is a song for those who don't want to get down with the sickness in our world today. Hysteria used to be a clinical diagnosis in the 70s for anyone, especially women who spoke out or seemed overly emotional. Now, it's seen as normal, and Destroy Boys is telling us not to join in. If we see something, say something.

Accompanied by a spectacular music video by Violet Mayugba and Vince Lopez, the video captures the surreal oddities becoming our everyday life in a campy way. From the flying spaghetti monster as the leader to being watched like the Eye of Sauron, it shows that we're never truly alone anymore; we're constantly under surveillance.

If you're a fan of Hey Violet and Porch Light, then Destroy Boys is definitely for you. Give them a listen, if you see something, say something, and pre-save Foie Gras! To pre-order the album, click HERE!
