DARK DAZEY CHANNEL PSYCHEDELIC MADNESS ON "GONG SONG"

Dark Dazey are a pummeling psychedelic rock…funk…punk, errr… it’s really hard to try and pigeonhole a band as epic and insane as this. Their bio describes themselves as “genre-bending psychedelia from Los Angeles” which helps greatly because at least now we have a physical location from which we can chart and plot the varying degrees of musical madness their new track, “Gong Song” unleashes into the atmosphere. Once you mentally and physically anchor yourself into this plane of existence, feel free to hit the play button down below and strap in. Dark Dazey covers a lot of ground over their new song’s approx. five- and half-minute runtime. They kick things off with a chill jazzy intro that gradually morphs into a walloping metallic, prog rock-ish cacophony that just might rip a hole in the space-time continuum if played loudly enough.
