CATE LE BON HYPNOTIZES CROWD AT MEXICAN SUMMER'S 15TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW

On November 29th, record label Mexican Summer celebrated their 15th anniversary with killer sets from the alluring Cate Le Bon and the fiercely talented L’Rain, Zsela, and Mega Bog at the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.
Cate Le Bon is a brilliant singer, songwriter, lyricist, and producer; her albums are evidence of this. Watching her perform live was just a further confirmation of these truths.
It was one of those shows where it is immediately apparent that one is witnessing something special and rare— a multi-dimensional artist with a point of view. It was the kind of performance that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up because what you're experiencing is so beautiful in its uniqueness and so sincere in its expression.
Inimitable is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Cate Le Bon, but I could also describe her as amazing, and "amazing" would regain its actual definition. I can also call her a genius and have it not be an exaggeration. Go see her perform next time you get a chance. You'll be so thrilled and grateful to have witnessed her masterful artistry.
Here's to many more years of Mexican Summer! This incredible record label gives all music lovers much to celebrate.
