DAISY GRENADE TURN THE ROXY INTO A CELEBRATION OF SELF-EXPRESSION

Stepping into The Roxy, there was a noticeable calm in the room. Conversations buzzed throughout the venue before gradually fading as the house lights dimmed and the anticipation began to build. Opening the night was Vienna Vienna, best known for the breakout track “God Save The Queens.” The artist has also been gaining momentum thanks to “Make a Man Out of You,” which recently found a home on the hit Prime Video series Off Campus.

As fans packed closer to the stage, the excitement became impossible to ignore. Every corner of the venue seemed energized as the crowd sang along to Vienna Vienna’s lyrics, erupting at the opening notes of each song. It felt like many of those fans were witnessing a moment they had been waiting for, fully immersed in every second of the set.

Daisy Grenade wasted no time turning that energy up another level, kicking off their set with “A Beautiful Woman Is A Weapon, I Guess That’s Why They Call Her A Bombshell.” From the opening moments, the crowd was completely locked in. The punk-pop duo of Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker commanded the stage with a chemistry and charisma that felt effortless. Their soaring vocals, combined with an engaging and theatrical performance style, created a stage presence that was impossible to look away from.

The visual production elevated the experience even further. A vibrant palette of colors washed over the stage throughout the night, with each song seemingly taking on its own personality through carefully crafted lighting cues. Brilliant backlighting added depth to every performer on stage, creating a dynamic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the duo’s larger-than-life energy.

The So Much To Say Tour also carries a meaningful purpose beyond the music. Daisy Grenade partnered with the Let's Give A Damn Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering artists who have faced criticism or consequences for speaking out. One dollar from every ticket sold on the tour is being donated directly to the foundation.

While performing songs from their So Much To Say EP, the band took a moment to discuss the companion film directed by Jamie Rice. During the brief pause, they delivered a heartfelt message to the Los Angeles crowd: make the art you love. In an era where virality and profitability often dominate creative conversations, Daisy Grenade encouraged artists in attendance to continue creating work that feels honest, personal, and authentic.

Following the emotional moment, the duo launched back into the remainder of their set with the same passion and intensity they had displayed all night. The performance even included a surprise guest appearance by The Ready Set, adding another memorable moment to a night that celebrated creativity, community, and the power of staying true to yourself.
