CORELLA UNLEASH STUNNING INDIE POP ON LATEST SMASH "DRIFTING"

Have the doldrums of winter got you down? Are you stuck in a proverbial [or literal] rut and need some kind of shot in the arm to remind you of the good ol’ days? If so, look no further than Corella’s uncanny new single, “Drifting.” Musically, this track is three minutes of up-tempo bliss. It’s poppy and punky, but not pop-punk. No, Corella crafts some of the most amped-up, infectious indie rock these ears have heard in ages. Every instrument shines with this song’s dazzling production job.

The guitars are crisp and lively, the bass rumbles in all the right spots, the drums are bangin’ and the dancing hi-hat is like additional icing on top of the regular amount of icing on the cake. Then, there’s vocalist Joel Smith’s impassioned performance that just triple dog dares listeners to sing along with him. This song couldn’t have come out at a better time. Give “Drifting” enough spins and winter just might end early.
