COMMITTEEMEN RELEASE RAW NEW SINGLE “THERAPY” AHEAD OF EP ANNOUNCEMENT

The world needs punk rock; that’s a given, as uncertain times are often the catalyst for life-changing music and art. Punk band Committeemen stays true to their roots, emphasizing their core values in their sound and lyrics. Their latest single, “Therapy,” is not just relatable (with a hint of concern) but also necessary.

Today, the art of keeping up with appearances is everything. Everyone can start a podcast or post their opinion online, research be damned. Committeemen seemingly affirm that “therapy doesn’t work.” However, they’re more accurately poking fun at a group of individuals who stagnate themselves by thinking they’re “too self-aware” for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Sonically, the single promises a fantastic forthcoming EP from Committeemen. Their raw, relentless sound is forged, but not from label executives or industry pressure. Rather, they have cultivated their ideas from the ground up—in the spirit of DIY.

“Therapy” truly is for everyone, and it’s great to see artists fighting against pretentious jerks who lack the self-awareness they claim to have mastered.
