CIRQLES RELEASES FIRST SINGLE OFF THEIR SECOND LP "DEMONS
Unsettling fuzzy drums bring a disoriented version of shoegazing in Cirqles’ work. Since their first EP in 2012, the Frankfurt-based trio underwent six years of rehearsing and procrastination with their newest record, "Expansion". Their latest single, "Demons", starts with sonically pleasing Rhodes, and crisp drums embellished with a soft vocal riddled with delay, resulting in a piano hook. It's ambient. It's slightly haunting as if you were about to walk into an old western saloon and saw a ghost.
