Chuck Johnson is an Oakland-based musician/producer/composer with a captivating new single titled “Sylvanshine,” ready to alter the vibes of your day…and, quite possibly, life. Johson’s latest track is a brilliant mashup of ambient meets post-rock, clocking in at just under six and a half minutes of sheer sonic bliss. Thanks to the immaculate production of “Sylvanshine,” every instrument shines, which allows individual guitar and saxophone notes to echo into eternity.  The visuals compiled in the song’s accompanying music video are beyond fitting, featuring shots of sun rays filtering through flowers and lush vegetation. One might wonder if Johnson wrote this spellbinding tune with the visuals in mind or if they might have served as some inspiration while he was in the studio.
