BONZE SERVES UP A GENRE-BENDING FEAST WITH NEW SINGLE “FOOD”
Bonze returns with “Food,” the title track from his upcoming EP, and it’s anything but conventional. A sleek, genre-defying blend of house, techno, and indie-pop, the track pulses with cinematic emotion while staying grounded in a hypnotic, danceable groove. Built with both brains and heart, “Food” captures the essence of Bonze’s sonic evolution and hints at even more experimentation to come.
Lyrically and conceptually, the track explores the idea that music, like food, is something deeply nourishing, consumed daily, and essential to emotional well-being. Inspired by the likes of Rival Consoles, Max Cooper, Bon Iver, and Charli XCX, Bonze (aka Jack Reardon) teamed up with Alex Hollingsworth and co-producer Joe Payne to craft a sound that feels as intimate as it is expansive.
The song also marks the beginning of a new chapter for Bonze, inspiring his new dance-focused side project, Leaches. And with official artwork by Alex McCullough (known for his AD93 label work) featuring a cornucopia, the release underscores Bonze’s mission: to feed your ears with something rich, layered, and satisfyingly unpredictable.
