BRITAINS DEAD SLOW HOOT RELEASES NEW ATMOSPHERIC SINGLE "LOW ROAD"

Sheffield/London-based dark indie four-piece Dead Slow Hoot began 2021 with their politically charged "Taller Tree", a grizzly post-punk track that grows into anthemic bliss. The band is back with their newest single "Low Road", a song about the dark path of toxic insecurity. "I wrote Low Road in the midst of what turned out to be a personality crisis and it kind of earmarked the onset of a really toxic insecurity where I was so eager to relate to new people that I would sideline other people in my life and just act out in pretty cruel ways," says vocalist Hugo Lynch. You can hear the emotional layers of self-reflection in the lyrics "I'm using outside to color my cheeks/ and leaving myself just out of reach", spearing the heart with an overwhelming human condition. Dead Slow Hoot recently announced the release of their new EP "A Kinder Kind" expected to hit streaming platforms on June 17th.
