BLUEBURST'S NEW TRACK "KICK MY TIRES" IS A '90S ALT ROCK REEMERGENCE
I was born in the late '90s so I, unfortunately, didn't get to enjoy the peak of alternative ‘90s rock. New up-and-coming artist Blueburst released a new track “Kick My Tires” which is rhythmically similar to the classic ‘90s rock ballads we miss. The band pulls inspiration from artists like R.E.M., The Cure, and Soundgarden; their sound primarily falls under a dark emotional genre.
This lead single is the introduction to Blueburst’s new album ‘Significance’ which was released on October 20th. The song features amazing guitars and drums that pound its way through your ears. Even after the years-long hiatus Craig Douglas Miller; the singer/guitarist remained true to his original ‘90s alternative sound and was influenced by his break. The track is a timeless, post-punk anthem that is sure to find its way onto your alternative rock playlists. Take a listen and tell me what you think.
