WORM ANNOUNCE “TOTAL POSSESSION OF AMERICA” TOUR

There’s no easing into this one. WORM is hitting the road and bringing the darkness with them.

The band has officially announced their upcoming run, “TOTAL POSSESSION OF AMERICA,” a tour that promises to be as punishing and immersive as their sound. Known for blending death-doom weight with black metal atmosphere, WORM has built a reputation for creating music that feels less like a performance and more like a descent. This tour looks to double down on that.

The announcement comes as the band continues to ride the momentum of their latest release, Necropalace, out now via Century Media. The album pushes their sound even deeper into the abyss, expanding on their signature mix of suffocating heaviness and eerie atmosphere. Alongside the release, the band also unveiled the Necropalace short film trilogy, further building out the bleak, cinematic world surrounding the record.

While full routing details are still rolling out, the name alone sets the tone. “TOTAL POSSESSION OF AMERICA” isn’t subtle, and neither is the band. Expect cavernous riffs, oppressive low end, and a live experience that feels closer to a ritual than a traditional set.

WORM has steadily carved out its place in the underground by refusing to stay in one lane, pulling from doom, black metal, and something far more ominous in between. On stage, that translates into a dense, immersive atmosphere that hits just as hard visually as it does sonically.

If you’ve seen them before, you already know. If you haven’t, this is not the tour to sleep on.

Tickets for “TOTAL POSSESSION OF AMERICA” go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10AM local time.
