SURFBOAT DROP NEW SINGLE “HOT DOG” WITH STAR STUDDED VIDEO

Surfbort have released their new single “Hot Dog,” the final preview of their upcoming album Reality Star, arriving Friday, March 6 via TODO Records. The explosive track also comes with a hilarious, star-studded music video directed by Pooneh Ghana.

“Hot Dog” is loud, chaotic, and gloriously unserious. Crunchy guitars and pounding drums drive the track while Surfbort lean fully into their scrappy punk energy. The song channels playful chaos rather than polished aggression, making it feel like the soundtrack to a party that got a little out of control.

The video doubles down on that spirit. Packed with absurd humor and cameo appearances, it features Jesse Rutherford of The Neighbourhood, Zumi Rosow of The Black Lips, professional skateboarder Lizzie Armanto, along with Lex Cabral, Ryder Garbarini, X Miller, Dead City, Bonavega, Bella Ferrada, and more. The result feels more like a chaotic punk comedy than a traditional music video.

Frontwoman Dani Miller explained the intention behind the track. “Hot Dog is our reminder to take a breath, chill out, and learn how to enjoy life again. Inspired by the playful energy of the B-52’s, we wanted to create something fun, colorful, and gloriously unserious. A sort of rebellion against the tense, overanalyzed world we’re all living in. Sometimes life should just be about eating hot dogs, sports, or whatever ridiculous thing makes you grin until it hurts. It’s that living like it’s your birthday energy.”
