NEVERTEL DROPS NEW SINGLE “SOME THINGS” AHEAD OF START AGAIN ALBUM
Nevertel by Bryan Kirks
Florida alt-rock outfit Nevertel have dropped a gripping new single titled “Some Things,” a slow-burning anthem that dives deep into emotional fatigue, strained connections, and the quiet ache of moving on. The track arrives as the latest preview from their upcoming full-length album, Start Again, due out September 12th via Epitaph Records.
“Some Things” builds with deliberate tension—anchored by moody synths, restrained guitars, and a melancholic vocal delivery that gradually erupts into a powerful, cathartic chorus. It’s a track that doesn’t rush the emotional payoff; instead, it simmers with intent, letting every lyric breathe as it explores the complicated middle ground between heartbreak and healing.
Lyrically, the song leans into the heaviness of unspoken feelings, with lines that reflect regret, introspection, and the uncomfortable truth that some things simply can’t be fixed. It’s the kind of track that feels custom-built for long drives, late-night thoughts, and that specific brand of sadness that lingers just under the surface.
Start Again is shaping up to be Nevertel’s most introspective and sonically expansive release to date, blending alt-rock, post-hardcore, and electronic textures with surgical precision. If “Some Things” is any indication, this album isn’t just about moving on—it’s about tearing things down and rebuilding with brutal honesty.
Stay tuned for more singles leading up to the release, and mark your calendar: Start Again lands September 12th via Epitaph.
