Astral Bakers is single-handedly leading the soft-grunge indie-rock revival. Their latest single, “I Don’t Remember” is a relatable, catchy breakup track. Even if you’ve never been through a romantic breakup, the repeated line, “I still see you every time” is sure to resonate.

These skilled musicians have a chemistry that shows through the mix. A guitar solo in the bridge captivates the audience and helps the song’s overarching storyline progress.

A round of applause is also due for the groovy, moving bass line. Without its guidance, the melancholic yet hopeful energy of the guitars would not feel as whole. Each of the musicians plays alongside each other, working with their strengths to make something amazing.

Though they are just getting started as a group, Astral Bakers are gearing up to be something amazing. A full record with this sound would do exceptionally well.
