Vocalist Tim Lambesis and guitarist Phil Sgrosso are back, alongside Miss May I bassist Ryan Neff, former Unearth shredders, guitarist Ken Susi, and drummer Nick Pierce. If this indicates where As I Lay Dying is headed [and it is!], prepare to have your mind blown. “Burden” is a wild collection of high-speed riffs, pummeling double bass drum salvos, some of Mr. Lambesis’s most jaw-dropping vocals ever recorded, Ryan Neff’s superb cleaning singing, and outlandish guitar solos galore…plus a rad blast beat section!
