ARIA OHLSSON'S NEW SINGLE "SOMEONE ELSE" IS CATHARTIC RELEASE FOR BROKEN HEARTS

There’s a lot of regret, yearning, sadness, and loss present and palpable in Aria Ohlsson’s latest single “Someone Else.” 

The alt-pop song is incredibly hypnotic and mesmerizing lulling the listener into wanting to repeatedly play the track over and over so as to decode the meaning behind the lyrics. They are both abstract, cryptic, and somewhat direct.

Make no mistake about it, Ohlsson is making it clear she continues to long for the object and desire of her love. She is projecting what she feels and visualizes what is like for her former romantic interest to be with “Someone Else” and not her. 

Ohlsson delivers the lyrics in a very languid, relaxed, and soothing style that is very feminine and girlish.

“Someone Else” pulls at your heartstrings with strong emotions attached. The haunting track is very personal and reflects the dynamics of some unresolved issues in the complicated relationship.
