ANTHONY GREEN SELLS OUT THE BELASCO WITH GEOFF RICKLY & KURT TRAVIS

Anthony Green made a stop in Los Angeles during his “So Long, Avalon” solo tour to play a sold-out show at the Belasco this past Sunday. Green was joined by Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly and Kurt Travis, vocalist of A Lot Like Birds and former vocalist of Dance Gavin Dance.

Geoff Rickly warmed up the crowd with acoustic songs and humorous tales about his life. I have always enjoyed watching Rickly’s performances because he really makes the crowd feel he’s speaking to them as a friend.

Kurt Travis took the stage next, changing up the pace. The audience adores Travis’s unique post-hardcore sound and swan-core riffs. He mentioned that fans have responded so well to their music recently that they had to put out new music.⁣

Anthony Green finally made his grand entrance onto the stage with a single spotlight on him. He played songs such as “Trading Doses,” a personal favorite of mine, as well as songs such as "Seven Years” from his other popular band, Saosin. The crowd sang along as loud as they could, showing their support. It was very heartwarming to hear! ⁣
