ALL MY GLOW IS ON: TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION TOUR NIGHT ONE

The last six months have been nothing more than a wild ride for the boys from Maryland. After the release of their third full length record ‘Glow On’, Turnstile has just been making their rounds. From their late night TV debut to their tiny desk performance, there seems to be no stopping this train.

After kicking off the Turnstile Love connection tour with two nights in San Francisco, It was Los Angeles’ turn to to experience a little TLC. And what better place to do it then right in the heart of Downtown LA at the Novo in LA Live.

The night started off with Atlanta pop-rap duo Coco and Clair Clair, who I can best describe their music as like seeing someone’s Myspace page. Very colorful and a lot of shit-talking but definitely in a good way. I don’t know about you, but I honestly thought they were pretty sick and very entertaining

Right after them, a band that’s no stranger to this scene and to the hearts of all these Turnstile fans, Citizen hopped on stage just after finishing their very own headlining tour not too long ago. You already know it’s vibe city when Citizen plays. Playing songs from their latest record ‘Life in your Glass World’ which is a change of pace from old Ciz bangers but still bangers. It’s always a fun time when Citizen is around.

After a pretty lengthy intermission (which I think was very much needed for what was about to happen) The first night of the Turnstile Love Connection tour in Los Angeles went down with just a straight ass-kicker of a set from boys from Baltimore. Songs from pretty much each Turnstile era and all hits no misses.

From crowd surfing (unfortunately no stage diving) to an ocean of people screaming and singing every word. The energy this band just throws at their fans is just next level.

I highly suggest you catch this tour.
