ALEX PLUMBER GOES FOR BROKE ON THE POP PUNKISH INFLUENCED “CRASHING DOWN”

Aussie singer/songwriter/producer Alex Plummer cranks it up on “Crashing Down” beyond level 10 and doesn’t let up. The one-two-three punch of a track is a full-tilt, beyond-high-energy affair.

“Crashing Down” is arranged with a lot of scorching guitar work and pounding rhythms that leave the listener not knowing what hit them. Since there is nothing in his bio about other musicians playing on this song, it may be safe to assume Plumber is a multi-instrumentalist. He’s a good and solid musician, nonetheless. Yet, the bio does state he is a solo artist.

There isn’t a dull moment on the combustible song because it just speeds and races by you. Plumber’s vocals are raw and hit one’s exposed nerves as his pain, which is very palatable, over someone who left him (maybe a girlfriend?) and being devastated. Love and loss are timeless, universal themes. Everyone has been affected by them at some point in their lives.

The frenetic, turbulent music fits well within the context of “Crashing Down” and drives home that rush of emotions, despair, hurt, and anguish while thoroughly rocking out.
