NOTHING SHARES NEW SINGLE “NEVER COME NEVER MORNING”

Philadelphia shoegaze stalwarts Nothing have unveiled a new single titled “Never Come Never Morning,” offering another glimpse into their forthcoming release A Short History of Decay, out February 27 via Run For Cover Records.

The track feels unmistakably Nothing from the first guitar swell. Thick layers of distortion fold into one another, creating a dense yet strangely luminous wall of sound. Beneath it all, the rhythm section anchors the haze with steady momentum, allowing the song to breathe even as it threatens to collapse under its own weight.

Vocals drift just beneath the surface, more emotional current than centerpiece, adding to the track’s introspective pull. “Never Come Never Morning” leans into atmosphere over immediacy, unfolding slowly and deliberately. There is melancholy here, but it is wrapped in beauty, a hallmark of the band’s ability to make noise feel intimate.

A Short History of Decay arrives February 27, and the band will support the release with a run of U.S. tour dates before heading overseas for a EU and UK tour beginning April 2026. With new music and an extensive touring schedule ahead, Nothing is entering this next chapter at full volume.
