You might think Thursday nights are just ordinary weekdays, but this one was anything but ordinary. The Regent was packed with excited fans ready to loosen up their mid-week chaotic work day with Pop Evil’s live music.
Pop Evil originated in North Muskegon, Michigan, and was formed in 2001. The band is currently on a headlining tour for their eighth studio album, What Remains. Released earlier this year, the album is considered Pop Evil’s most intense and emotional work to date. It includes 10 tracks, with standout singles such as “Deathwalk,” “What Remains,” and “Wishful Thinking,” which were released earlier before the album’s full launch.
The tracks on the album discuss personal struggles, healing, and finding strength during difficult times. With their strong lyrics and intense guitar riffs, the album will take you on a journey of reflection and growth.
Their headliner tour features an exciting lineup of supporting acts: Devour the Day, Return to Dust, and Oni. All are adding unique flavor and intensity to their shows. The tour began on April 8 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and will conclude on May 18 in Bloomington, Indiana.
And, of course, we were not left out and were fortunate enough to experience this fantastic tour! Pop Evil put on an unforgettable show at the famous Regent Theater in Los Angeles, CA. They energized the fans with a blend of intense new songs from What Remains and fan-favorite classics. The venue had a fantastic energy that brought the band and fans together.
The vibes that night were a mix of pop and evil-ness, so you better catch Pop Evil on this tour and experience their incredible live show! It's a performance that will leave you wanting more!
