NAKED LUNGS RETURN WITH INCENDIARY NEW SINGLE “GLITTER”

Irish noise rock four-piece Naked Lungs return with “Glitter,” their first new material since 2023’s widely praised debut album Doomscroll.
Known for their sharp command of dynamics, Naked Lungs once again toy with restraint and release. “Glitter” opens with high-adrenaline guitars and rolling drums, channeling the groove-heavy edge of their sound before pivoting into a caustic, crushing second half that leans hard into their heavier influences. The tension is palpable, the payoff explosive.
Vocalist Tom Brady describes the track as a reflection on denial. “Glitter is about watching people bury their heads in the sand to hide from the chaos right in front of them. Integrity got left behind, quick fixes took over, and real accountability gave way to indifference. The world is on fire, and too many are asking, ‘Why should I care?’”
The band’s rise has been fueled as much by their live reputation as their recordings. From early praise by BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music to sold-out shows and major festival slots, Naked Lungs have steadily built momentum. Now, after a period of intense writing, “Glitter” marks the first in a series of new releases planned for 2026.
