Spite House has returned with a gut-punch of a new single, “Stale Change,” the first taste of their upcoming full-length album Desertion, due out September 12th via Pure Noise Records.

Built on tension, grit, and emotional excavation, “Stale Change” hits like a cold wind through cracked walls—melodic but relentless, brooding yet cathartic. With layered guitars crashing against raw, desperate vocals, the track feels like the band setting fire to their past and refusing to look back.

Desertion marks Spite House’s most personal and expansive release to date, promising to dive deeper into themes of detachment, self-erasure, and the hollow ache of growing apart from the world around you.
